The Sea
The sea whispers and shouts
Into the very ear of our soul
To echo the divine love.
But it also enthuses our body
With its wooing breeze,
Awakening all instincts
Withdrawn before
A stern ruthless wisdom
And an uncompromising logic,
To hide in the shadowed
Besieged zones of being.
It is here, in the presence
Of this pounding sea,
That the body rises
To face the soul, restarting
Their eternal argument.
Aloud, it claims its rights
In aphrodisiac desires.
Here, I would ask my body:
How would you enjoy
What you have long heaped
Of material pleasures
After you will be left
In a bed of dust?
Then, the answer comes:
The body-soul symbiosis
Will enable the soul
To metamorphose all
Epicurean delights, beyond
The blind wall of dualism,
Into eternal harmonies.
Didn’t the Divine Word
Become flesh!?

نداء البحر
في صخبهِ ينادي البحرُ الروحَ
بنفحاتٍ تنبض بحبِ خالقٍ قدير
ولكنه أيضا ينادي الجسدَ نافذاً
في خلاياه بنسيمِ الرذاذِ الغزير
فيوقظ ُغرائزاً تراجعت خَجلى
أمام حكمة ٍتُلوِّح بأقصىَ النذير
وتهديدِ منطق ٍلا يجادل لا يلين
قد وضعَ الهوىَ في أسرهِ أسير
هنا في حضرة يَم ٍممتدٍ مديد
أمام هديرهِ إذ يضجُ ولا يهدأ
بين الجسدِ المتمرد والروح
ها المواجهة ُالمصيرية ُتبدأ
فالجسدُ يُطالبُ بحقوقه في
متع ٍقد سُلبت باسم قيم ٍومبدأ
والروحُ عبثاً يقاومهُ، عَلَه
من وهدة إثم ٍمميت،به يربأ
ويبقى في فكري السؤال:
هل يا جسدُ سيبقىَ لك ما
حشدت من ألوان ِالشهوات
بعد أن ترقدَ في مهد التراب
بلا حسٍ يحسُ، مجرد رفات؟
فيجيبُني وحيٌ من علياء:
لا أملَ إلا في تناغمات الذات
التي تهدمُ أسوارَ ثنائية
الجسدانيات ضدالروحانيات
حتى تستطيعَ الروحُ أن تُحيلَ
شهوة َالفانيات إلى باقيات

La Mer
La mer parle à l’âme
Avec des souffles de l’amour divin
Mais elle parle aussi au corps,
Oui, elle lui parle
D’une voix sonore
Qui éveille les instincts timides
Repoussés vers les coins
Les plus sombres de l’être
Par une sagesse austère
Et une logique ardue.
C’est là où le dialogue éternel
Entre le corps et l’âme a lieu.
Voilà que le corps réclame
Ses droits usurpés
D’une Liberté charnelle
Des plaisirs aphrodisiaques
Toutefois, il ne me reste qu’une question ;
Où iront ses plaisirs quand le corps,
Prenant sa forme de cadavre, devient
Sans souffles, sans sens ?
Et je suis inspiré par la réponse:
Au-delà du mur aveugle du dualisme
La symbiose corps-âme permettra
L’âme à métamorphiser
Tous les plaisirs physiques
En harmonies éternelles.
N’est-ce pas la Parole Divin,
La Mantra, S’est fait chère ?
